Richard Womack Construction

Richard Womack Construction, LLC was started in October of 2006 by the owner Richard Womack. Richard Womack himself has over 18 years of experience in the construction industry including commercial, industrial and residential work.

Richard Womack received a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1996. Before earning his degree, he worked as a Field Engineer with Yates Construction Company on various projects throughout the southeast. After receiving his degree, he went to work with Yates Construction full time. Over the next twelve years he worked as a Superintendent, Safety Representative, Quality Control, Cost Controls Engineer and Project Manager. As a Project Manager he was part of job management teams on projects exceeding $150 million and personally managed projects with construction budgets up to $12 million.

In 2006, after much prayer and consideration, Richard Womack left Yates Construction and started his own company. He acquired his residential license in the beginning and built several custom homes and a few spec houses. In 2008 he began doing commercial work once again and acquired his commercial license.

Since returning to the commercial market, Richard Womack Construction, LLC has become a successful commercial contractor completing many different building projects. Attached you will find a list of these projects with descriptions of each. Richard Womack Construction has also been certified by American Buildings as an “American Building’s, Metal Building Supplier and Erector” with the ability to provide as needed designs and warranties on American’s buildings.
